NRF was recognized as Conservation Organization of Year for 2006 at the 45th Annual Governors Conservation Achievement Awards of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. This is the highest honor given to an organization committed to conservation in North Carolina. The award was presented February 10th at a banquet dinner in Raleigh. We wish that every NRF member could have attended the event. This achievement belongs to all of us. Your support and volunteer efforts are an integral part of our program; without you there would not be a Neuse River Foundation.
