Fairfield Harbour Fishing Club presents check to Lower Neuse Riverkeeper
“Bob Bruggeworth and Walt Myer present a check from the Fairfield Harbour Fishing Club to Larry Baldwin, Lower Neuse Riverkeeper®”.
At the monthly meeting of the Fairfield Harbour Fishing Club on March 3rd, the club presented a $500.00 check that will be used for the Neuse RIVERKEEPER® Foundation's "Safe Water Initiative", a project of the Foundation's RiverWatch program designed to do monitoring and testing of water quality in the Neuse River watershed.
This very generous donation illustrates the concern and dedication of this very active club in being great stewards of clean water. The realization that the very sport that the club encourages is dependent upon clean water is a testament to their understanding of the issues and needs for independent study of our most precious resource.
The Neuse RIVERKEEPER® Foundation greatly appreciates the support from the Fairfield Harbour Fishing Club and looks forward toa long working relationship in protecting the waters of the Neuse River watershed.
