2006 RVIERKEEPER FILM FESTIVAL POSTER
In 2005, Neuse River Foundation celebrated 25 years of environmental victories with the first Riverkeeper Film Festival. The program offered 20 independent films from across the US. Some were from first time filmmakers and others were from seasoned documentarians. Some films were new and others came from filmmaker archives, some were funny and others were serious, but they all had one thing in common--WATER.
We just closed the 2006 Riverkeeper Film Festival and audience reviews were very good! Plans are under way for the next festival, please check back for details!
FILMMAKERS: we are looking for films with a water theme, but the focus is not strictly environmental; we look for documentary/independent stories that come from history, art, literature and the environment; please check below for filmmaker guidelines and submission forms.
SCHEDULE: We are in the process of updating the website please check back for more information about the festival.
